We talk about being stable on our approaches, what does that mean?
If you are adding another notch of flaps while crossing the threshold, are you stable?
Making large power adjustments, is that stable?
Excessive pitch changes because you are not on the glidepath on short final, is that stable? NO!
Have you ever heard of something called, “Stabilized Approach Concept”?
